Your skin has many tiny pores.
What you have to remember is that -
- the pores on your skin open up when you exercise
- as you exercise you will sweat a lot
When you wear makeup, the makeup along with the sweat can enter into the pores on your skin and block the pores. This can lead to the formation of blackheads, pimples, acne and in extreme cases cysts.
Remember to wipe your skin clean before exercising so that your skin is makeup and dirt free.
If you are very particular about wearing makeup and going to the gym, wear oil-free light makeup and remove the makeup and cleanse your skin immediately after exercising.
